Charity was dedicated to the devil at only six months old.
She was born in Gulu, Uganda in 2005. Her mother, just a student at the time, abandoned her and ran away. Charity’s grandmother took her in as a small baby and dedicated her to the devil, to serve demons.
Charity only knew of evil and how to participate in rituals. She never got to hear about Jesus or know freedom and truth.
Charity was listening to the radio this year, and was led by the Holy Spirit to tune into Favor FM, our radio station in Uganda. The moment she heard a pastor leading prayer, she fell from her bed, shaking uncontrollably. |

When Charity finally got up, she was extremely angry. Immediately, she went to the Favor FM radio station to enact revenge on this pastor. Why did such an intense rage overcome her body? When she got there, the receptionist thought she was there to share a testimony! She brought her into the production room.
As she headed in, thoughts of murder and rage filled her head… but the moment she stepped through the door, all ideas of revenge disappeared! Charity started talking about salvation and asking for prayer!
Charity was instantly set free from the torment of the devil she had experienced for the last 16 years when that same pastor prayed for her! She gave her heart to the Lord in heart-rending repentance.
Now, in total freedom, she realized the way she had been living was not good. She felt the heaviness and pain lift. She had never known what it was to walk without fear for the future! Charity has never been the same person since that day. |

Her grandma, now knowing of Charity’s salvation, stopped supporting her or paying her school fees. She even sent her away from home because of her refusal to serve the devil and participate in rituals.
Thankfully, the local church started taking care of Charity in the midst of this mess - being left with no family and no home. A church member even offered for her to stay with them!
Charity now serves in the choir and is a Sunday school teacher at her church. She is very happy to know God and to be free! She still dreams of being a nurse, and believes that one day God will help her get back to school so she can serve Him in this way.
She is so grateful to the entire Favor FM staff for sharing the good news of Jesus! If it wasn’t for our team she believes she would still be serving the devil today. |

Every year we get thousands of calls into our radio stations in Gulu, Uganda and Juba, South Sudan. In 2022 alone we received 40,435 calls and saw 6,469 salvations through the radio! Favor FM plays worship, scripture, preaching, and so much more. There are countless testimonies of those who call in, and even those who walk through the doors of the station to hear the Gospel, just like Charity!
Charity now says “Indeed, I can testify that God has plans for all of us as it’s written in Jeremiah 29:11, ‘For I know the plans I have for you, declares the Lord, plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future.’ otherwise I would still be serving the devil to date. Glory to God that I’m saved now!” |

In addition to our Favor FM radio station where we spread the Gospel across the airwaves; Our GIFT (God’s Institute for Transformation) children’s home rescues homeless and abandoned street children. Graduates of our 60-Day Portable Bible School are discipled, trained in village evangelism, and learn how to bring the Gospel across the nations! We provide Trauma Counseling, Bible distribution, medical care, and more!
Just this year we have seen more than 48,000 people won to God across 8 nations already! |
