Dorcus entering the GIFT Girls Program

     At only 15 years old, Dorcus was living on the streets in Gulu, the capital city of Uganda. She was involved in sex-trafficking, prostitution, stealing, drugs, and violence.

     This is the normal lifestyle for many of the girls that live on the streets. Some are hired by high-up government officials who use these girls to sleep with opponents and kill them the same night.

     One day Dorcus was introduced to Jesus through the Favor team!

     Dorcus joined our GIFT (God’s Institute For Transformation) girl’s program and began to learn about the truth. Through Trauma Counselling, discipleship, love and care God did a deep work in Dorcus's life.

Dorcus now serves as an intern in the GIFT Girls Program

     Dorcus is now on our Gulu girl’s home staff as an intern. She’s an example to all the other street girls we’re helping and is a living testimony about the goodness of God in the life of a broken life - now set free and a passionate follower of Jesus Christ!

     There are over 125 girls in our Gulu girl’s program, just like Dorcus, rescued from sex-trafficking, and other crimes. These girls are being taught the Word of God. They are learning their value as the children of God. Each one of these girls lives are valuable to the Lord and He has a wonderful plan for them.

     There are so many girls just like Dorcus who need to learn the truth and have a way out of sex-trafficking, hunger, violence, crime, and drugs. Your gift today will rescue young women.
