"Three times they tried to kill Muhajid, three times they tried to end his life."
Muhajid was ripped away from his family at five years old by the Muslim militia and taken to a Muslim camp in Khartoum, Sudan. These camps are where children are indoctrinated with Islamic practices, taught extremism, and violence.
Muhajid grew up to become a powerful Muslim leader. He led an operation to eliminate all Christians in his region. He would torture, or imprison anyone who would profess Jesus. He even burned down churches.
During a visit with a Christian relative, he argued with this woman about Jesus and Mohammed, salvation, and eternal life. Afterwards, he was not sure what to believe.
He had 3 visions that same night. Haunted by this, Muhajid consulted a pastor who explained his vision as a call for salvation. Muhajid gave his heart to God!
Since then it has not been a smooth journey. Muhajid's own family now rejects him. His wife left him, married another Muslim man, and all of his children rejected him for his decision.
Muhajid went to the one Christian radio station in Juba, Favour FM. There he confirmed his salvation and was immediately enrolled in the 'Train our Trainers' where we train our new missionaries how to win Muslims for Jesus.
If we confess our sins, he is faithful and just to forgive us our sins, and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness.
1 John 1:9
Our Train our Trainers Bible school program is a program where men are trained to preach the Gospel to Muslims. There are many testimonies of people like Muhajid. Getting saved, set free, and gaining a desire to get other Muslims saved.
Muhajid has had three attempted assassinations on his life but God saved him!
Muslims are trying hard to kill him, but Muhajid continues to serve Jesus! He is teaching Trauma Healing and the Word of God to Muslim refugees who have fled the war in Sudan.
Former Muslims make the greatest missionaries to people lost in the darkness of Islam.

"Just as the Apostle Paul's story began with assignments of murder against the New Testament Church, but ended with his powerful ministry to the Gentiles, so also, the Lord Jesus is writing a brand new story of salvation and purpose for Cosmas' life and thousands of others."
Cosmas had worked for seven years in a realm of deep spiritual darkness in Northern Uganda. He held such a high rank as an "agent" in the occult that the witchdoctors answered to him. He had instructions to do horrific things. He threatened believers, declaring that the power and bloodshed of Joseph Kony and his war would return to Northern Uganda, beginning in Gulu. The enemy's plan was for him to "reclaim" his former position of influence of deep and widespread evil.
In spite of all this, Cosmas had a believing wife who came daily to our House of Prayer, interceding, and crying for the salvation of her husband. The prayer team would agree with her in prayer for God to intervene in Cosmas' life.
One day Cosmas himself came to the House of Prayer looking for his wife. His intention was to greatly harm her for her faith and prayer. Regardless of their marriage bond, she would now have to "pay the price" for loving Jesus.
As he entered the main prayer building in a rage to do terrible damage, he found over 300 community members gathering for prayer, praise, and the teaching of God's Word. He knew these people gathered daily, from all walks of life, and his target was not only to destroy his wife, but these praying believers who were "pushing back" spiritual darkness over the whole region. He had heard how new believers were coming to the Lord Jesus daily, as a result of these faith-filled prayer times. His "assignment" was destruction.
As Cosmas entered the room of worshipers, he fell to the floor under the deep convicting presence of God. He cried out with fear and trembling for the first time. Complete repentance flooded his heart as our ministry leaders prayed with him. God saved Cosmas and set him free from years of oppressive bondage and spiritual darkness! Could we say, God ended another war before it began!
For the very first time, Cosmas was brought to the unconditional love of his Savior. He found redemption, healing, cleansing, and restoration in the message of God's love for him on the cross. God didn't stop there, though. This young man was restored to his family and began a walk of committed discipleship.
We took him under our wings to walk with him through the process of restoration and rebuilding. He was given a job on our farm and went every day with his family to the House of Prayer for prayer and discipleship. Each week, Cosmas brought more people to the Lord Jesus Christ for the same salvation and freedom that he had found!
Just as the Apostle Paul's story began with assignments of murder against the New Testament Church, but ended with his powerful ministry to the Gentiles, so also, the Lord Jesus is writing a brand new story of salvation and purpose for Cosmas' life and thousands of others.
Two years ago, Cosmas attended a Bible school that specializes in Muslim evangelism and discipleship. Cosmas devoured the teaching and the calling of God deepened as he learned Arabic, the Koran, and how to win Muslims to Jesus.
He has been to the Muslim refugee camps in Northern South Sudan where many have come to faith in Jesus. Now he is involved in the discipleship of new Muslim believers as we are training them to be missionaries for Jesus in Muslim dominated areas. Cosmas teaches in the Bible School as well, as we are training all of our students to go north to the nations and reclaim what the enemy has stolen.
Cosmas is passionate about winning Muslims to Jesus and even goes to the mosque. We told him he could win them one by one or he could train an army to go! He's training an army!

"Many Darfurians knew him before as a rebel leader, but now he comes as a born again follower of Christ who's shepherding the Lord's people closer to Him!"
Adam Mugabe was a leader fighting the Rapid Support Forces called Janjawid which are a Sudanese rebel militia group.
He was known by South Sudanese military leaders including the president of South Sudan.
A vision came to him one day when he was in the bush and set for a mission to attack, as they were waiting for the time to attack, he slept and used his gun as a pillow.
In his dream someone told him, "Adam, you can not deliver your people using this gun."
So he threw the gun out that was under his head, and the man in his dream gave him a word: SHEPHERD.
He couldn't find the meaning of Shepherd until he asked a Chaplain from South Sudan who explained to him that God wanted him to be a shepherd of His people, and led him to accept Christ. From there he took permission to come to Juba and there he started a Darfurian church.
Sadly, Muslims stole Adam's family. His wife and children were taken, never to be seen again. But he remained faithful to the calling.
Now he's 10 years in the faith!
Favor Africa supported him to study theology and also his church building in Juba.
This year Adam joined Favor Africa and was trained in Portable Bible Schools and Trauma Counseling and is now sent as a missionary to the Darfurian refugee camps in South Sudan. He baptizes people every day who are coming to Christ through his testimony and teaching.
Many Darfurians knew him before as a rebel leader but now he comes as a born again follower of Christ who's shepherding the Lord's people closer to Him!
Adam is now working in Darfur with Muslim refugees sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ. He has been dispatched to work with them and there are about 70 new converts ready to be baptized and more ready to come to Jesus.
The best missionaries to the Muslim people are Muslim background believers.

Just last month God gave him a beautiful wife and a new family.
Praise Jesus for redemption!
