Robinah Akello's Story
The Lord has blessed Robinah Akello with an abundant flock of goats! She began with 2 goats and now has 9! Robinah has a plan of beginning a cereal business in 2024 and she is believing God for the resources to start up the business through the outcome of the goat project.
We thank God that the Women Empowerment teaching is implemented and transforming the lives of so many ladies just like Robinah! |

Transformation in Kalongo
Thanks to goat projects in Kalongo, women are now starting to sell their goats in order to purchase bigger animals such as bulls to help with more intensive projects.
Nighty Okello, a 35 year old group member, said that she managed to sell her goat and planted sesame seeds in in the first season in 2020. By doing so, she also was able to purchase a bull, which she now uses for plowing. |

Women Empowerment Impacting Marriages and Communities
One of the women from the womens group in Lukira, Concy Okello, was recently able to get married and have a wedding thanks to her Women Empowerment project! The newly married couple said that the oxen project made it easy and possible for them to have their wedding.
This couple is one of many who have been greatly impacted and blessed through a Women Empowerment project. There have been two more couples who recently were able to get married thanks to the projects started! In a culture of polygamy and gender violence, establishing godly marriages is truly the work of God. |
