Refugees have fled the war in Sudan by the 1,000's! There are refugee camps springing up across northern South Sudan and conditions are squalid. But God has given us the nation of Sudan on our doorstep with 91% of their population being Muslim. Favor is there and we are seeing many come to Jesus - even at risk of their lives.  

Richard is our leader for Trauma Counseling in one of the camps. This week the National Security and police came to arrest him and all those that were part of the class. They were yelling at them that they didn't have permission to conduct these classes and the government of Sudan was upset (we did have approval from South Sudan government officials). Richard asked the police to take him but leave the people but they were abusive and insistent. 

 As Richard was getting on the police motorcycle, arrested, a man from out of nowhere came and said - 'Richard get off that motorcycle'. He was loud and insistent. He said, "Richard you go and continue your work!" The police and National Security were shocked and released him immediately. Richard got off the motorcycle and after some angry discussions the police left and the class resumed. We don't know who the man was, where he came from or where he went BUT we do know this was a miraculous intervention just like Acts 12.

The classes continue, and the team is courageous and Muslims are coming to Jesus! Hallelujah! "Who redeemeth my life from destruction; who crowns me with lovingkindness and tender mercies!" Ps. 103:4

Muslim Imams came to stop the Trauma Counseling training of over 230 Muslims, hungry for the truth. They are facing daily persecutions, but through intensive prayer, they continue to gain supernatural intervention and government permission to continue with the classes. They were stopped for a day but now reopened, gaining courage and momentum as Jesus is ministering life to those who will receive Him.

One of the new Muslim converts has become very zealous for Jesus and an avid witness of his new found faith, leading others to Jesus. Some radical Islamic rebels came and seized him and took him into the bush to kill him. Our teams were warned and immediately went to prayer. They called security and the new convert was supernaturally rescued just as they were about to kill him.

Only God - the book of Acts in action - it's not His will that any should perish but that all come to know Him! These precious new coverts, immediately desire to be baptized in water and wholeheartedly surrender to Jesus!

• Portable Bible School Graduations - This month we'll see 404 Portable Bible Schools graduations with 1,000’s of new converts and 1,000s disciples! Please pray for these new graduates as they go out to spread the Good News of Jesus with the nations!
  
  
• Resources and Finances – Please pray for a provision of resources which are needed to finish the PBSs and bring our missionaries home.
  
  
• New Intake of GIFT Street Youth – Please pray that God will continue to bring hope and healing to the brokenness of these new GIFT street youth and that He would establish them firmly in their identity in Christ!
  
  
• 2023 Vision - Our 2023 vision is 'Mighty Exploits'! As God sweeps the nations of Africa and across America, we pray for revival fires to burn in the hearts of people to transform nations!
