As we entered the Karamoja region with a visiting American team, we knew we were making a footprint in the land for the Kingdom of God. Last year we started a small House of Prayer in a rented room and have watched it grow little by little.

The footprint 👣 looks like this:

House of Prayer holding services daily from Monday - Friday
Portable Bible Schools throughout the region
Trauma Healing throughout the region
Pastor's coming together for unity and training
Major Crusade at the beginning of this year
Mobile Medical Clinic
Government breakfast
Buying a piece of land to build a permanent House of Prayer and a center for operations

Even the government is honoring and appreciating what God is doing through Favor!

Karamoja is the largest region of Uganda and is located in the north east. It is the most underdeveloped region and has a 75% food poverty level. It is characterized by warring tribes, insecurity, famine, malnutrition, street children, lack of education, and mostly many unreached with the Gospel! The Karamajong people are mainly cattle keepers which leads to an abundance of guns, fighting, and warring among the tribes. Food relief is minimal because many people are afraid to go to that area.

We, as Favor, go where others do not want to go and we are seeing God move across the region of Karamoja. People are so hungry for the truth and so receptive to the Word of God.

Just this week we visited one of the most volatile villages where there are killings daily. They want peace.

What a strategic moment it was as we arrived the same day that four tribes were going to the bush for peace talks. As we shared about the Light of the World, the Son of God - who comes to transform our hearts with His light when we accept Him - we saw the whole village accept Christ. They promised to take this new found faith into the peace talks in the bush. The Light is more powerful than the darkness and the Light pushes back the darkness. When Jesus steps in - everything changes!

You can be part of changing a whole region. The needs are so many.

Dig wells
Build churches
Educate children
Start women's empowerment groups
Train pastors and leaders

KARAMOJA WILL BE SAVED! The land will be redeemed and the Prince of Peace will be high and lifted up!

Portable Bible School – Pray for our 2nd wave of Portable Bible Schools for 2023 that are now kicking off. Missionaries are headed back to the field, communities are being mobilized, and many souls are already being saved!
Sudan - Please pray for Sudan - "He makes wars to cease!". Please pray also for the safety of believers in the midst of conflict.
Sudanese Refugees - Please pray for tens of thousands of refugees who are fleeing the war in Sudan and coming into the northern part of South Sudan. He's bringing the Sudanese to our doorstep and most come from Islamic backgrounds. Our teams are there on the ground ministering and we are sending more missionaries even this week. Please pray for revival in the midst of tragedy!
Short Term Serving Teams - Please pray for upcoming Short Term Serving Teams. Please pray that their lives will never be the same and that they will be stamped for The Great Commission in a deeper way!
2023 Vision - Our 2023 vision is 'Mighty Exploits'! As God sweeps the nations of Africa and across America, we pray for revival fires to burn in the hearts of people to transform nations!
